But at the end of the day regardless of how much I tried to ignore that fact, it was accurate, my thoughts where the basis of my anxiety. I experimented with it. The more I focused my energy on the nervousness the stronger my worry attack became. So with the assistance of a therapist, I was able to work on my thoughts and defeat my anxiety.
It would be a lie to say I am anxiety free, however I'm much more able to deal with anxiety, I've more coping strategies. Dealing with anxiety is now much easier for me.
Another to bear in mind, is that worry may be unpleasant, but it is not always a difficult thing. This anxiety can help up be alert, the adrenalin can keep us focused.
